Default A New Porsche V8 Conversion Message Board:

Hello;

I've started a new message board specifically for those with interest in Porsche V8 conversions. The board is open to all Porsche converters and those with interest in the subject. The Porsche Hybrids Board can be found at:

Is this about putting 928 engines into other Porsches?

No - I think it is about converting them to a new, organic fuel. I am surprised that no one has heard of the "V8 Conversion" kit. Runs off a commercially available tomato based drink.

All joking aside, I am sure that this will be a valuable resource (the board, I mean)

If this is about hybrids w/o porsche engine, I won't be needing that. But of course no flame on those who do. Seems like that is Off Topic, John

I think a 300 hp porsche v8 with another 250 from a twin screw setup is plenty of power, but thanks anyhow. Would love to hear how much money it takes to get a reliable 550 hp chevy v8 in our 928, I'm guessing $10,000.

Damn, when I saw it was on 560sec.com, I was really hoping for a forum showing me how to drop a 928 engine into my 380SEC.

Oh well.

This may be a good resource for the 928 rennlisters, but since 560sec.com is for sale, how long will the link be any good?

Should I sell the 560sec.com domain name, I'll simply move the forum to its' own domain.

I've gone to the new forum and came back...
It's just about how to fit a flux converter into your V8 928, that's it...

oh well, life is full of dissapointments.
