Congrats, even thought that really sucked to do all of that work.
Actually the timing belt does not change temperature the way you may think. The heat in or out of the belt is the specific heat constant of the belt times the difference in temperature of the belt versus whatever it's in contact with. And over a small period of time, such as a milisecond, that rate of change is extremely small. That's because the specific heat constant of rubber is low. It's an insulator. In fact, the belt spends most of it's time in air.
Now it's time to solve my new sunroof problem.

Thanks guys. It's good to be back in business, and life is good again.
Now for the next project. Don't they seem to just never end? Plug Wires, Coils, Shocks, Clean Undercarriage, and on, and on, and on.... Aargh!
