little birds...I found this when I popped the hood today. I knew I hit a bird when leaving my aunt's house in Ohio yesterday morning, but I saw it tumble to the ground behind me - this must have been another casulty. It's not funny - i really do feel bad about it. But either they have really slow birds in Ohio, or I was moving a bit faster on that two lane blacktop then I should have

That's odd. I offed a sparrow yesterday with the E55. Hit it hard enough that it was stuck between the headlight and the body.

Didn't think to take a picture, though. It was pretty gross.

I had this cardinal that kept following me around outside, and he eventually took to the passenger side mirror of my truck. He crapped so much on it that the mirror could not be cleaned, it had to be replaced. He started in on the other mirror too, and we bought a fake owl to scare him off, but the bird kept coming back.

Unfortunately I have a mean streak and he ended up with a .22 bullet up his ***.

We don't have troubles with birds around here. We have to watch out for deer. My wife hit one a couple of months back and the bill was ~$8000. All the neighbors around here have hit a deer some time in the past couple of year ... check out the signature below.
