Default S4 door won't stay open

Any ideas on how to cure a door stop that doesn't do a very good job of stopping the door? If not, how about some suggestions for a search on the topic. I have exhausted all of my ideas to no avail. Kinda embarassing to have the door slam back at you when you try and get out.

Thanks,

It's the door stays that will have worn, you need to replace them. Here's a pic of my old/new ones and it's fairly clear that the bumps have worn away on the old ones, so there's less resistance to pushing them back and forward between the nylon bushing inside the housing.

replacing them was really easy, a bolt out, bolt in operation. The difference the new parts made was amazing - the doors would stay open even pointed up a steep hill. This last pic shows where they are.

Cheers

Interesting that on the Jager website, it is said that the door needs to be disassembled. What kind of engineers they got over there?

DOH! And I guess I knew that, too. That's why I have a new pair sitting in the parts pile waiting for the next time I pull the panels... note to self: put brain in gear before engaging keyboard...
