I copied the idea from otto himself. He sent me a computer disk with the airbox mods on it. I used a 1 inch thick piece of wood that was cut to the same size of the base of the airbox.BUT the wood must be angled forward 45 degrees(you can set this angle on your circular saw). Then at the base of the airbox,I built a velocity stack That was also 1 inch high.I then fiberglassed the wood and velocity stack and covered it with the rubberized paint( the stuff that you dip tool handles in). I am using a k&n filter and I cut out the restrictions in the air intack tubes.Otto said that he dynoed a simmilar airbox and it made 6 hp and 6 ftlbs of tq over stock. As far as the exhaust is concerned.I put header collectors ( you can get them at any auto parts store) at the end of the headers and cut the x pipe and welded in tubing to connect everything up.Otto told me that there is 15 rwhp in replacing the 2 1/8 inch pipe from the back of the x pipe to 2 1/2 all the way back.He also said there was no hp to be found in the rear muffler bypass. I am also running chips that I got from vertex that I think are copies of racing dynamics chips. I never dynoed the car befor these mods so I dont know how much each one will give you

Sounds like you spent quite a lot of time back and forth talking to Otto. Who is Otto?
