All these recent photos of clean under-skits made em envious. So I broke down and did it today. It's a lot of work, but quite satisfying.

You should paint your calipers and hubs while you are under there...
I have the dish wheels, so you really cant see them. Besides on an OB, the calipers really aren't anyting special. If it was an S4, they'd be painted.
what cleaner did you use?
A combination of simple green, regualr car wash soap, Scrubbing Bubbles, and a Carb cleaner for the really stubborn or hard to reach stuff and a lot of ELBOW GREASE. I used three brushes. A wheel/tire brush with relatively short (1") stiff bristles. A pointy car wash brush with long (3") bristles - this let em get into many of the nooks and cranies. And finaly a detail brush - basically an oversized toothbrush with stiff nylon bristles.
