Exclamation 87 T/O bearing good or bad?

So had the clutch out, disk looks good, new rear seal and pilot bearing. Looking to grease the Throw Out bearing I see the two layer bearing each has an identical crack in them is this normal or are they both broken with identical fractures?

Both internal bearings with identical cracks?

That's an upgraded/updated -09 release arm and GTS release bearing. The 'cracks' are normal. There are a couple of TSBs that document that upgrade.

Do *not* grease the throw out bearing.

High pressure grease on the i-shaft splines and i-shaft nose for pilot bearing.

Check WSM to verify.

OK it did get some PB Blaster but no grease on the T/O bearing, so got a new white plastic cap that goes in the arm, is it best to put the cup in the arm first or on that ball up in the upper bell housing? Will grease the short shaft.

I use a dremel to open up the release arm bushing,
then add some Dc111 to the inside of the cup,
then pry it on the ball ,
then the release arm will slide onto the bushing.
