GDW White 1981 928S Atlantic sea lover
My name is Grégoire.
Long time Belgian, 57 yo, Alfist,
..basically a transaxle..
I was also a Porsche fan a few years ago with a 911 3.0sc and a 3.2 Carrera G50. They are superb cars.. but my heart kept a preference for the Italians.. until the day when, somewhat on a whim, I made an offer for a 928 from 1981.. a transaxle like my Alfas and above all a car that took me back to distant teenage memories.
American, a priori, European traveler in reality.
After doing some investigations (carfax…) I discovered that this car has traveled a lot. Imported to the United States in 1993, it remained in different states such as Michigan, Florida and California before crossing the Atlantic again around 2020.
Of course, I'm looking for as much information as possible.
It's incredible the modifications made for US approval... and really not always happy...
I have been fighting for several months to make it European and reliable again. Not being a specialist in this car... I have work and I can go back to school to try to understand the 928B mystery..;-)
I've already found some very interesting information on this site... so I got involved.
of course if anyone knows anything about this car.. they will become my hero.
