PorKen Andrew Schauer Is this my low pressure switch? No rubber cover, looks like the leads have connectors but rather permanent rubber wrap. How would I jump this to test?
There is another switch lower down on the body of the accumulator towards the front with a rubber cover. There are two female spade connectors under the cover.
Problem diagnosed. Jumped the pressure switch and compressor clutch engaged. Could hear and see it! Now to get a pro the find the leak and reload 2 lbs. of R-12 at $149 per. Then there is the matter of finding the leak and plugging it. Thanks to all for your help. Stay tuned for whatever problem comes next.
