One more wet sanding with 800 paper and one more clear coat. That should do it.

I think you've put this car back into service faster than 928 International could have stripped it.

Wet sanded in the typhoon. Color is a little light in a few spots and the bumper needs filler in a few spots. Fog light and bumper trim should arrive next week.

Wrestling on the front spoiler was no fun. Especially linings up the 12 securing plates. Too lazy to go to my warehouse to get my riveting stuff. So $3 m3 nuts and bolts will have to do. Of course I scratched the f out of the freshly painted bumper it will be easier to work with once installed.

My plan is to attach the bumper cover lightly, use bumper filler to get a smooth base on which I can paint. Then when remove to bumper to install the trim and lights. Or install everything then mask and paint. What say y'all?

Anyone know if 99650501901 is the same size as 99350501900?

The 964/993/928 bumper impact tube looks very similar to the 986/996/997 bumper impact tube. The 944 has the same mount holes positions but the main big bolt is smaller than the 964/993/928.

Project progress was rained out on Thursday. So today is the day to prep, respray and install the front bumper.
Why are the R134a nipples so hard to attach to the gauges?

Didn't get much done. Could not get a good surface on the bumper, new filler didn't cure due to high humidity and heat and couldn't get. The impact tube. And this week another typhoon is coming through.
I did replace the sunroof deflector hinge now the sunroof works perfectly.

Got kinda over and underwhelmed yesterday. Getting a smooth surface on the bumper is harder than I expected and ac system oil damaged the paint near the left headlight Found a broken Y pipe for the EVAP canister and an oil leak from the oil pan gasket.
Still need to get the sway bar and can't remove the lower ball joint with the tool I have. And I still can't get more than 1 can of ac gas in. Think the compressor isn't engaging. Then the ****ty weather forecasted for the weekend means nothing will get done.
At least it's beginning to look like a car again

Got some done yesterday between the rains.
Pulled the right fog light again and painted it chrome. Not perfect but better than before. Fully installed the front bumper. Got power to the ac compressor so it took 1more can of freon. The ac felt slightly cooler. I think 1 more can will do it. See the reading.
From what I've read the best approach to the wheels is just to paint them so that's next week.
Y'all input is needed here. The rear interior is badly sun damaged. I have a complete black interior. Do I change the interior rear trim and carpet to black or retrim the dark blue vinyl band dye the carpet?
