Just wondering what you've found to be a good set of cold pressures on Bridgestone SO3's. Seems to vary a bit from brand to brand and I"d like to make sure these last as long as possible. Just 'normal' highway driving...maybe a bit of playing on some backroads ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Car is an '88 S4 5spd w 140,000 miles and 17" rims...225's on the front, 255's on the rear.

I had S02s and now have a set of S03s - 255 and 265 on 17x9 and 17x10. I found 35f/34r to be just about right. The SO2s ran with even tread wear (all the way to the belts - oops) on those pressures (good alignment too). Yours are narrower so a bump in pressure is needed.
225 at 36psi is what the OEM spec always was. Since the 928 is well-balanced the 44psi stock rear setting is ludicrous. GTSs with 245 rears were spec'd at 36psi all around. With 255s on the rear you can go a tad lower.
This all assumes you want the maximum patch on the ground...

Jim, I have the same tires with 6k on them and like Nick I have been running 36 front and back with no issues. They are showing some wear so I do not think they will last as long as my prevous dunlops - maybe 12k. Guess it is the sacrifice I make for handling and a quiet ride - they must be incredibly soft.
