Lightbulb Capturing the Gems - into the WSMs

I finished scanning the excellent posts on AC by Wally P and Steve C: not trusting all of the diagnostic content to memory, select excerpts of these ( and of John S and Rich re LH/EZ-K data, etc. , etc.) gems are now nicely filed in the appropriate chapters of the Porsche WSMs.
The trick is to adapt to the 4-ring metric format - so if you're interested, here's how to get there with matching pages....

The factory workshop manuals (WSM) are in the metric A4 format, 4-hole ring binders: anything metric is tough to find in North America, even here - an official metric country!
Start with a 500 sheaf of good A4 paper from an office supply house (Staples - in my case, for < $6 Cdn) 210x297mm, 8 1/4" x 11 11/16" . They can get it if not in stock. Then, take a standard 3-hole punch: Remove the middle punch, and set the remaining two for holes 1 & 3 as per the A4 format : Punch once, reverse the paper, and punch again - which leaves you with perfect 4-hole A4 sheets.
These sheets go straight to your printer ( narrow the feed gate slider), holes on the left, and print ....
If I find something particularly well written/explained, it becomes a useful addition to the relevant chapter - and I don't happen to like letter size sheets hanging out the edges

Great idea, so I have no qualms about resurrecting an old thread.

Just wanted to add, my local Staples has a paper drill and has happily drilled holes in a marked sheaf for me. (They also have a cutter and cut a stack of manila folders into a stack of odd sized index cards I needed for a labelling job.)
