I looked at my rear seats and they are pinned from both sides. I noticed that they have two big sections of cushion.

The seat top in black that I am giving away has 6 smaller sections that are less pronounced, not sure what year 928 those came in.

 

There was no model with pins on both sides. It would look like part #1 in the picture.

 

Mine looks like that picture. On the side with the locking mechanism I thought there was a pin there too, almost looks like it when viewing the seat folded down.

So my 86' MY with VIN #2366 will take an 82' seat top, very cool.

 

Anyone seen this leather rear seat pattern? Maybe an early euro?

 

jadz928 sent me rear seats that have the same pattern and I believe they are from an 80 Euro, Jim am I right?

 

Yep. Mine will fit yours. I have some extra seat cushions as well in leather that will match the seat backs I have if the pattern is the same for the whole rear seat.

Interesting, must be early early. I find many of the very early cars have a LOT of 944/911-like patterns etc in them .... and then they got fancy

 

Hi there. Would anyone have an extra front wiper cap that hides the nut? Also am looking for 2 or 3 plastic bolt caps that reside inside the map pocket. It's only used for cosmetic purposes. Anyone?

 

Mike, I can't bear the thought of you running about with your left nut exposed , so I 'rescued' one such cover from the first 928 that came to hand. PM me an address, so this unsightleness can be covered up! I now have two in case you need both.
BTW, do you know anyone who drives a guards Red 928 - with wiper nuts exposed?
