Default 78 fuel pump

Does anyone know if the fuel pump relay has anything to do with tachometer signal on a 78 928?

I believe it references the tach signal, and turns the pump off if it no longer detects RPM.

That said, it's been a while since I looked at that part of the writing diagrams.

Thanks Allen, Just wondering if it passes the signal on to the tachometer itself. My tach only works sometimes if I remove the relay and reinsert it.
