I'm confused...did Jim H and I get the correct answer or was "throttle cable" only partially correct? I know Tom M gave the "most correct/complete" answer Who started this thread / game anway...I can't recall...we're 5 pages into it now...was it Chris B or Gretch? I really like this game...I'm learning a lot! Maybe we can get Nicole to print up Flash Cards and sell them on her site?
Cheers,
Tim

Jim - OK, I'll start playing by the rules.
Gregg - You are very close with regards to its function.
Old&New - Those are the stock connectors, honest.
If I un-crop the picture it will give it away.

The confusion is my fault for posting a picture with multiple components in it. I was looking for the answer Tom M provided. I did not start the game.

Paul, is that a rear hatch solenoid? I don't know what the orange bx is but it is clearly burried in the dash or pod somewhere........is it actually a stock part?

OK...here's a hint..it is not from my car ..It likely comes only in 90 and up 928's. It is part of Don Hansons car and I believe I disclosed its function in the second issue Vol. 1 of 928 Forum (Don Hanson article obviously).

There is a directional arrow on it and it must be mounted in that position. The box and internals are made by Siemens.

Later,
Tom
