Hi all
The bearings on my cooling fan were getting slightly noisy.
I thought I would do the easiest thing and order the 2 bearings and new circlip from Porsche even though I have read that there are cheaper alternatives!
All was going well but the new fan side bearing stands proud and I now cannot get the securing pin back in.
I have seen that there is a spacer that comes with the aftermarket kits and I now don’t know if that is what is on the shaft or if I have a different fan set up to the original?
It certainly doesn’t want to come off if it is a spacer!
Any help would be gratefully received!

 

Done some more digging and looks like I have the bearing for the earlier fan clutch?
I think I will just order the aftermarket flatter bearing?

Thanks, I would love to but I am in the UK unfortunately.
I have found this in another thread now so have ordered the correct bearing now.
