Blower Resistor Pack - Part 92861610100 Revised?
After troubleshooting, I decided to try the new part with the pins put back to stock setting before reinstalling the old part. To my surprise, the new resistor pack works perfectly with the stock wiring layout, no need to adjust pins. Do you think Porsche has revised this part so that the rewire is no longer necessary? Just sharing my experience as all fan speeds have now been restored.
So I pulled the connector and plugged in a new one, all speeds now worked! So I went ahead with the installation (I did not move any pins around).
Using some weed wacker string it took about 15 minuets. Note: with this method get the top screw started then remove the string as the new unit won't fit in the hole with string attached.
Note: same part number as you have shown.

FWIW I put a shop towel under the work area,
so if I drop one of the resistor screws,
it wont go all the way to Germany.
Yes you can find it,
but it might require hood removal,
or a fishing expedition with a long magnet
