Crooked Guage Cluster Pod?

Crooked Guage Cluster Pod?
My father and I took the guage cluster out last fall in order to replace the odometer gear and refresh the bulbs.
When we went to put it back in the other day, we stopped just before the steering wheel went on and noticed that the cluster looked a bit crooked. The right side being lower than the left.
We took it all back apart thinking that we missed a spacer or something, and then noticed that the bar across the steering column (sorry don't know the correct name) that the pod mounts to on each side with those long bolts, is crooked too. Not only that, but the molded part of the dash where the pod goes appears to be angled down on the right side. Is this normal? It's one of those things that I never even noticed when taking it apart.
If it matters, it's a 1984 928s U.S. version with a manual transmission.

yes this adjustable,
in your picture see the 3 allen bolts under the shaft,
loosen them about 2 turns then reposition the bar so its level,
then snug them.
NOTE that spring you see in the top,
may try to pull the shaft up once those bolts are loose,
just level the bar then snug them,
final tighten the bolts after you are happy with the pod installation.

Thank you Mrmerlin!
The pod surround on the dash itself also looks canted lower on the right side... Should the pod be perfectly straight, or should it be the same as that pod surround?
(Sorry if I'm over thinking this, it's a pain in the butt working with the pod cluster and I don't want to go through all of this again. )

if the pod is straight the gauges should also be straight might you be missing a rubber spacer ?
at this point it might be prudent to post pictures of the gauges and the parts your fitting to the pod housing
