Default 928S front grille

Just wanted to let everyone know that these OEM pieces are still available from Porsche. I had been looking for good used ones, and prices were very high and they still looked like they needed some restoration work. Then I stumbled upon these. $215, including $20 shipping! All three horizontal slats, plus the three vertical brackets (two R/L outer and one center). Porsche Atlanta Perimeter.

The slats were originally metal and are now plastic IIRC. That is why they seem to command a premium in the used market.

The supports being available is great though. For years they were NLA and only mediocre aftermarket parts were available for the most part.

Been available for at least the last 5 years.and still readily available.
Porsche has ---
928 559 135 04 = 101
928 559 137 02 = 100
928 559 139 02 = 100
About 50% of each in the USA
All are current manufacture parts so should not turn NLA.
Prior to that the center upright was not available for some time. Mark made a reasonable copy but not needed anymore.

Interesting that that no prices are quoted.

Silly boy - it was about availability not price.
If you want to know the price just go to www.928sRus.com and search "grill"

Yes, the slats are plastic, but seem pretty high quality. The one slat that was left on my '84 was also plastic.

Sorry Roger, I guess I should have done a little more searching before assuming these pieces were NLA. Your prices are pretty competitive and I would have rather bought from you. There's no light at the end of my tunnel with this car though, so you'll be getting plenty of my business regardless!

I got the grill assembled and the three vertical supports mounted at the bottom. But I'm struggling with attaching them at the top. They seem to be almost 2 inches forward of the existing holes where it looks like the previous grill was attached.
