Paint
I have several rust spots all over the car. Some on the sunroof, roof, edges of the hatch and creases.
Some of you advised to sand out the rust, put on a primer, sand down and paint.
where do you get the original paint for these cars? I have “661 9 3 schieferblaumetallic X 6” on my door panel.
also, are these single stage paints or do you get paint and clear coat?

Why original paint on a touch up that won't look great unless blended to the old surface? If your serious, have it professionally done. There are modern high tech paints that will rival 40 year old paint technology.
I meant the color matched really well with what came with the car. I will take it to a shop when I get the car back from all the repairs it’s undergoing
Most paint shops have a “camera” that determine the matching paint, and they tell me that the paints today are just as good or better than the original. A really experienced painter will blend the repair spots and after a good buffing the repair is barely noticeable.
