could anyone please advise if corroded contacts in the taillight wiring harness could be repaired or does anyone have any sources for just one of the sockets I don't need the whole harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dan, I have the same problem. I've checked around and I'm pretty sure you need to buy the whole harness. Because these are not cheap (>$150 from 928 Int'l IIRC), used harnesses are scarce.

I have a brand new rr light harness and lense assy w/bulbs, but no outer lense...cost me about $140.00, but I only needed the outer colored lense...will sell the rest for $50.00, still new in box...
