oil in Distributor Housing

oil in Distributor Housing
Hello,
This is my first post to this forum, and I am a fairly new 1986.5 928 owner. However, I have a question for anyone that might be able to help. Last week, I was giving the car a spark plug change and I noticed that when I removed the the Distibutor Housing of the air intake (this is the rectangle box that sits just above the cylinder head and spark plugs). I noticed that there was some oil in the bottom. It looks like maybe it is supposed to be there, but im not sure. Can anyone tell me if this oil should be there, and if not, what I can do to remedy the problem.

There is approx 2-3 tablespoons in each side. Im not sure what that translates to in cc's but probably about 10-20 cc's. And its enough to make a small puddle in what looks like a collector area in the Distributor Housing.
