EZF vacuum line - '84 Euro S2 (310hp)
Hi guys and galls,
So there's a vacuum line going in the EZF unit in the footwell. The line has the correct vacuum at idle, but I'm not sure the EZF reads this.
What should happen when the line is disconnected from a functioning EZF computer, at idle?
The WSM mentions a 40+-3° timing angle that should drop to 20+-3° when the vacuum is unplugged, at 4000 rpm. Applying 500 mbar to the EZF should restore 40+-3° timing.
Now forgive my very basic knowledge on timing. But what should I notice when disconnecting the vacuum line, without any advanced gauging gear? (only at higher rpm or also at idle?)
Thanks!
