Default Euro bulb comparator

Just so I don’t chase my tail on this one, I’ve got the tail light warning indication when turning lights on. Now this happened in my 83 US car and I found different brand bulbs in the rear marker lights and it fixed it. The 84 Euro has been federalized so I’m wondering since marker lights have been spliced in the bulb warning will stay on?

The warning computer only looks for a variance in current pull between the two circuits ie marker lights, brake lights, etc. It doesn't care so long as they are the same. Even different brand lights can set it off.

You can delete the marker lights if you want with no ill affects.

Just replace them in sets, ie all 4 tail light bulbs, at same time, with bulbs from the same make and if possible all from same packet.

Thanks everyone. So I guess the euro with The federalized lights behaved the same as the US version. I’ll break out the deoxit and take a look.
