Carlisle Porsche Swap Meet - April 27th
#16
Looks as though a couple of us from Central MD will be able to make it to this event on Saturday 27th.
Having never attended, are there details we should be aware of such as a meeting point for group arrival and parking, activities, etc?

Not sure what is in the "sticky" referred to in post #1 or where it is in the calendar of events. It is good to stay at the Microtel if room is still available and caravan to the event Sat morning.
Upon entering the fair grounds (early like 8:00 AM), cuz vendors start packing up around noon. ask to join the Concourse for an extra fee, for charity. You don't have to submit your car for voting, it just makes for a place to form up. Depending on the weather, there should be 10- 20 Sharks forming.

yup, what Steve said. We gather and park in the councours area. The models are all separated, so the 928s alll park together. We all then usually go for lunch afterwards, around 1 or so, just outside of the Fairgrounds

Bump - see a bunch of you tomorrow afternoon/evening. Parking lot shenanigans and dinner somewhere. Then back to the parking lot. Supposed to be chilly and cloudy, but no rain until late afternoon Saturday. Drive safe!

Hey Guys,
I’m not usually on Rennlist, but I’ll be traveling to Carlisle again this year with a truck full of parts. Please message me with any needs, I’m planning to rent a box truck again and can bring large items that aren’t always easy to ship. Doors, Fenders, Bumpers and hoods, wheels and more. Also please check out my website for shippable items 928porscheparts.com. You can text me at 781-254-0282 . See you there!
