That's Marc White from Wichita. 928 Owners Club Vice President. He's at SITM and the Frenzy almost every year with the beautifull Teri Knebel. They are organizing the OCIC in Wichita this July, and did the OCIC in 2000. Should be awesome. I'm doing everything I can to be there, but it looks like I'll have to fly in.

Rixster,

Thanks for posting those photos!!! I was good to meet you and to see one of you SEVEN Sharks! Did I get that # right? Hope you and your brother are able to get the 944TT back on the road without too much $$$ going into the project....might be cheaper to buy another car and swap over all the mods and engine, eh?

Re: SITM 2004, my Dad and I took about 140 pix altogether...will post some up with the names of folks as I remember them. I just gotta learn how to create my damned Rennlist personal webpage...someone was nice enought to email me with instructions a while back...will need to dig them out again.

Boy did I have fun at this event....my FIRST SITM. I'm addicted...I'll be back DR and Jeannie are just super folks and so nice to host this event yearly. The setting was beautiful...and man o man was the weather awesome! I may have to move to them thar hills someday....north central Florida stinks by comparison! I cannot recall having as much fun as I did driving the BRP in my S4 (with my clothes ON anyway). Sounds like we met DR's request to behave ourselves on the BRP...no one got pulled over, right?

Did everyone make it home OK? I heard that TAREK had a blow-out at 100mph and spun the car...but that he was OK physically. Let's hope there's no sheet metal damage!!!

Yikes! Eric was driving back with him. I'm betting someones shorts weren't so white after that one. I hope everyone is OK.

Tarek's blow-out wasn't as dramatic as earlier mentioned, luckily he was only going about 70 mph when it happened , I won't even mention how fast we were going an hour earlier but he was able to get it pulled over safely, he never did mention the condition of his underwear (but I wouldn't either)

We still haven't figured out what spare tire was in his car but it didn't fit (was rubbing the brake calipers), If it wasn't for Samantha we would have been screwed, she was kind enough to lend us her spare

Then, with paranoia in the air and the light of the gas station at the next exit, we checked the tire pressure of Samantha's new (week old) SO3's/ Kinesis and this is what we found

Believe it or not, by a stroke of luck the nail never penetrated the air chamber and didn't leak after I squinted my eyes and pulled it out with a pair of pliers, with this discovery and some 5am gas station junk food we were able to finess a little smile out of her, unfortunately the nail left a small nick in the outer rim edge
