Default Manuals in English

I bought a 94gts in Japan. I am still in Japan and need Owners manuals in English. Any thoughts where I can get them or could someone send me a scanned copy.

I have also been looking at the posts for superchargers. Has anyone put one on a gts and are thety happy with it??

What is the maximum boost that this engine will handle without causing headgasket failure or piston/rod failure?

thanks

Hello Isogashii-san ... or as I would call anyone who owns a 928 in Japan ... "sama"

Owners manuals are probably available at 928 International (www.928intl.com), 928 Specialists (www.928gt.com) and Devek (www.devek.net).

Tell us more about your GTS ... year, color, RH or LH drive. Do you have those special Japanese front fender flares?

Have you tried the nice roads around Yamanaka-ko and Hakone?

The mountain roads are excellent and exciting. However, I have only been ther with my motorcycle.

I don't know if I have special flares or not. I am new to porsche 928's. I have historically been a Mitsubishi 3000gt twin turbo addict.

Forgot to tell you it is dark blue with 33,000km (roughly 23,000miles). No dents, passenger wheels have a couple of scratches. But it is in excellent shape.

Japanise models had flares at front wheel arches and sort of rear wheel arch extensions to meet local regulations. Think they're easy to spot when comparing photos:

yes,I have the flares. I will post picture later today. I will take it at Japanese cemetery. I will go there and pray for a son of a friend who died last week from an auto accident.

Isogashii,
A very attractive GTS - with flares!
Your car appears to be left hand drive, as is my '88 S4 imported from Japan: Why is it that a very high percentage of Porsches/BMWs/ Mercedes are specified LH drive in a country dominated by RH drive? Mine arrived with convex rear view mirrors on both sides!, and the assymetric pattern of the H4 headlights reversed (favouring the left), all to accomodate RH drive.

I really do not know why but about 50-80% of all the sport cars listed in used cars sections on the internet are left sided drivers. Most new cars are right sided for imports.
