You have to see the full 2 minutes, I just cant figure out how to make it smaller. Also, I have a web site that will handle the 95mb but when I upload it, it wants me to use FTP and then I can not find it in the directory. Might have something to do with signing in and anonymous users - have to figure this out too. It is an .avi file which might have something to do with it.

Nice video! To reduce the size of the 2min one reduce the screen size. For full screen no bigger than 352X240 is sufficient. I know I am color blind, but the car looks very red to me. Looking forward to full vid!

Also, you can try using a different DivX codec, it looks like you are using an older one. You can try XviD also, just google it to find the site.

You can use a program called VirtualDub. Not real easy to use, but if you play around with it, you should be able to figure it out... I did. It will allow you to resize your video. One of the biggest issues for size is the audio format. Make sure you manually set the audio for something like, mp3 with about 16bit sample range or lower. You'll have to play around, but you should be able to get it down to about 4-6mb. Also you may want to consider formatiing it in .wmv. Compression is usually pretty good.

You should be able to compress a 2 minute video to about 7-10 meg at 700 kb per second.

What he said! Converting the audio to a decent MP3 format will cut atleast 50mb off of the filesize. I use VirtualDub too(free).

Make sure when you load the movie into VirtualDub that you put the Video mode in "Direct Stream Copy" (Video-->Direct Stream Copy) and the audio mode in "Full Processing Mode" (Audio -->Full Processing Mode

Then you can go into Audio-->Compression... and select MP3.

Thanks for the help on VirtualDub. I got the file down to 16mb for the entire 2 minutes and it still looks good.

Nice video. I would however prefer it without the satanic music. It's hard to hear the engine with all that extra noise.
