Actually, it is very helpful to know which URO parts aren't junk. I haven't used anything with that label for years, since I got sent a pair of URO 928 radiator hoses that were very thin and poorly reinforced-- not even worth installing.
But recommendations for specific parts that are useful is quite useful, thanks!

It did what it needed to for about 5 days tho.

Building on Kevin's reply, my general experience is that as long as they are single piece or "hard parts" they've been fine. i.e. no electrical components, no switches, etc. I've used their intake tubes on the 928 and a few hose connection fittings on the 996 where the URO parts are actually better (machined aluminum) vs. OEM plastic pieces from Porsche that get brittle and break.
Similarly on electrical parts (fuel relay on my old W126 Mercedes) they have been junk in my limited experience.

For reference, here is the URO catalog (they are part of APA Industries). You can search the catalog by make/model/year and it lists every part they make.

It's time to refit my 93 GTS for R134a and it currently has a URO dryer.
I'm going to replace it with another USO part unless somebody has had a bad experience.

The Behr driers are made in China IIRC, or at least they were for the 16V cars. A Uro part shouldn't be any different in quality so long as it doesn't release the beads...

Made in China is not a blanket bad thing. When OEM manufactures there is due to price differential and usually requires a set standard. Remember, your iPhone and many products you buy are made in China
Chinese manufacturing has different SKUs of products from Tier 1 to garbage. Unfortunately, OE usually lands on the bottom bin (aka garbage). OEM is a different story altogether (top SKU usually). My 5c.

It's the history of producing crap that doesn't leave me confident in their parts. But things are getting better so long as the OEM is in complete control and not getting parts from a fly by night factory.

Several years ago, I bought a URO part - don't even remember what it was - but It seemed to me to be of poor quality. Thus I haven't bought another URO part since.
For my Porsche/Mercedes/Mini, I have frequently bought OEM manufacturer parts (e.g. Lemforder), but try to avoid general aftermarket items UNLESS other users (or parts suppliers) here on Rennlist have had good experience with them. Thus, I'd buy the URO items above recommended by Kevin, Michael and Greg based their experience.
