from the picture on the rag the bracket is upside down.
the two bolts anchor into the girdle.
the shorter bolt bolt goes closer to the crank.
the longer bolt also captures the alternator adjuster bracket.

Got anxious…
Thanks for the replies, took it apart two years ago and it was the only part I couldn’t figure out…probably would have noticed once it was in the car but I was sure it was faster asking you guys!
