i want to thank everyone for the comments on my last post. This is my last build . I really like my 928 it has been in my family since the late 80 es . A relative of mine owned it . Long story short I owned it for about the last 14 years. It is a 1979 928 . I always ran American muscle cars so this is new to me. So this is my project. I bought a 1988 s 4 engine that needs a rebuild. I sent the heads off to get bowls ported and heads refurbished. . The block I don't know just were to take it to get the machine work done . I AM going to supper charge it and intend to low boost 6 lbs high boost at 12 lbs trying for 500 hp at crank . Intend to use mega squit for engine management 42 lb injectors larger fuel rails and dampers with fuel regulators to handle the system. Going to use a pro charger. I will use a water to air intercooler. Now the block. Bore it to 5.4 L use 944 turbo pistons rods I don't know also have crank oil wholes drilled out . Oh and I had the head sent to Lorenzo's fast flow in Langhorne PA. The car does run and I drive it all the time and love driving it. And Iam a skilled auto body repair man and good mechanic so I do have most of the skills needed for this project but need help from all of you guys . O also car is a 5 speed

 

When adding HP you need to up grade the brakes, especially on an early 928. As the car is running, consider selling and buying a newer S4 version that has upgraded suspension and brakes.
So what is your question, Is it who can build the Block for you?

Note: the early manual transmissions will not handle 500 HP, even the newer 86.5 and up have issues w/ 500 HP, buy an Auto, they will handle up to 1000 HP.
