Hi

Are you guys doing alright for proper 928 tyres?

https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/cla...rsche/928.html

Pirelli are making the proper P7 for your cars. they will suit your set up better than a modern tyre.

It is funny, on the budget cars that these Pirellis are being made for we get streams of people complaining about the price and trying to convince themselves and otheres that the budget option they bought is just as good because it is a modern tyre, ignoring the fact that thier modern tyre was designed ot be used on a different kind of car, unlike these Pirellis which have been tested and homologeted by Porsche themselves. Intereting to see the more discerning people are loving these P7 tyres. we had a extensive discussion regarding the Countach tyres we had made again.

I did get in trouble at one point when i suggested that the Countach owners didn't drive their cars, oh boy did i get in trouble. I guess those that do do.

i first got involved with getting the P7 made for the Countach because of requests from Joe Sackey in the states and also Harry Metcalf in the UK. Harry now does Harrys Garage. I dont know if you have seen it.

Good info. Between Harry and Joe that's a good endorsement. I've followed Joe Sackey for as long as he's been on Ferrari Chat.

What does shipping cost to the lower 48?

I find the suggestion questionable why the P7 should suit our cars better than the N rated P. Zero.
Greg Brown tested both and his comment was the later with the modern profile has better driving abilities.
Tire technology evolved the last 40 years so much, it‘s an quantum leap for every suspension.

I was running Continental DW Extreme Contact and switched over to the Cinturato P7 - night and day!
the Cinturato’s ran circles around the Continentals. Driving and handling improved dramatically and they look super! 225 R16 up front 245 R16 in back with a set of H&R 21mm spacers that displayed the tire perfectly in the wheelwell.

I really haven't any choice with the strosek, It's P7's Cinturato 345's or P-Zero Asimmetrico 345's for me, just like the lambo's. Damn they are expensive, but very good tyres indeed...
