Default Harness bar

Does any one know of a harness bar offered for sale, or did anyone make one themselves? 87S4

I don't know of any harness bars out there, but Devek sells harness plates that bolt to the rear shock tower to which you then attach the harness.

I was just going to post a topic about this.

There was a discussion that the bolt in roll bars/cages for the 944's is unsafe for a street car. Over in the 944 room.

How is the Devek bar? Other than killing luggage space and the back seats, is it ok for a daily driver?

Did they say in what way they thought they were unsafe? Was it specific to a particular manufacturers cage/rollbar or just the 944?

I only use the harness for racing, not comfortable at all for everyday driving. You have to remove the rear carpet and lower the rear seats.

More along the lines of, if your in an accident your head will hit the roll bar without a helmet, doing more damage to your skull than if you didn't have the roll cage at all.
