Default Auto Trans New Cable TIIIGHT!! *Fixed, Porsche changed it!*

3/2 gears are stiff...so the we're looking at routing.

Over, or like this, under the trans fluid line?

You using a hand model nowadays?

The route has to be with the no bends. I cannot get my S4 on the lift to confirm.

Ya..routing is good. Whats bugs us is the "lean" of the hard-bar out of the cable sheath, from this last mount, to the trans selector lever.

I mean, this part does not move here, but as you get down closer to '2', it bends in tighter and tighter...just seems...wrong.

This 'silver collar' on the end of the cable housing, is fatter than the OE cable, and interferres with the upper bolt. Going to find a shorter head bolt to put in there to help the cable "move" in a more natural direction...may even tap 10 degrees into the cable mount as well. As you can see, the old cable end was nowhere in the way of the mounting bolt..at all...and was a lot straighter from here to the shift selector ball.

I guess I would disconnect the cable at the transmission and move the selector back and forth to eliminate any other binding issues.
