There is a cover that goes over the sunroof mechanism/motor on the interior roof of the car towards the back (I can’t track down the part number).
It has on one side 2 prongs that go into brackets on the underside of the interior roof. The other side on my cover has a small curling clip, which I am guessing acts as a spring to keep the cover in place. I can’t work out how this works – I don’t seem to have anything on the underside of the interior roof that this would push up into to hold it in place. I wonder if I am missing a bracket? Any part numbers or pictures would help.
You are missing the spring that latches into the bracket and pulls the cover to the roof. #15 is the spring.
