I had that pearl 90 and a black 91 at the same time. Someone bought the black one for parts and the white one is undergoing a full RS2 build by a local guy and his son. I miss it too, probably going to pick up an S5 soon.

Firstly, there is the question of 17" vs 18" - for me I prefer the 18" because it fills-out the big wheel wells better. Others like 17" because there is more tire sidewall-height and a softer ride.

As for which style of wheel, I would suggest looking at all the different wheel options/styles to find out what you like.

A lot of guys like 5-spoke wheels, and the good news there is that Porsche made quite a few iterations of those, and are relatively cheap vs an aftermarket 3-piece or monoblock wheel.

For me, I prefer the mesh-style wheels, and these are HRE 570R's, an 18" 3-piece wheel:

And just for comparison, this is an HRE 300M monoblock on my 3.3 TT Stinger:

So find a style YOU like, and run with it. I think making the right wheel purchase is very important as you'll be looking at them everytime you go to the car, and you want to feel good about them.
