I picked up a 89 928 GT a few months ago. Looking for recommendations on a mechanic who knows the 928's well in the Oakland, CA area. Appreciate any recommendations. As a new 928 owner and having read the forums/auction comments, it's clear that having someone who truly knows the 928 is a must.

There's a group of 928ers in the Bay Area (NorCal928) on Facebook that are also Rennlisters. I think that they would recommend Hi-Tec Auto in San Rafael, but they may have other suggestions too. In the meantime, if you're having any issues with the GT, feel free to post 'em here and let the braintrust chew on it, and/or PM me and I'm happy to help.
