Default Does anybody have a driver's side antisway drop link they could sell me (86 928)?

Hi,

Whilst under the car today, removing belts and whatnot for a timing belt install, I inspected the undercarriage and discovered the bottom of the drop link looks like it was "grinded off". It's flatted, almost to the hole.

Anybody have a spare they can sell? PM me if so.

No other signs of damage anywhere underneath, though I fully intend to inspect everything with a fine toothed comb. If you all recall, I heard a click on the driver's side when going over bumps. This may be it....

Thanks in advance.

Thaddeus, the sore and tired

Nope .... different part number . The "S-4" front suspension introduced in 1986 (chassis 1,000 > in USA ) has a number of changes ...A-arm lengths , flipping over the lower ball joint , lower shock mounts etc. The damage you have noticed to the front drop link is rather common we suspect that it may be car wash damage as the car is pulled along the rail . And of course I do have used parts here , we have taken hundreds and hundreds of 928s apart ! No one has more used 928 parts than we do ....no one even comes close . 928 International has three very experienced "salespeople" who answer the phone , answer questions , discuss technical issues and that is really about all they do 8-9 hours per day for the last 10-15 YEARS ...... Purchasing , warehousing , bookkeeping , dismantling and shipping each have specialists who can give their job their full attention . Mark , Renee , Tom , Jim , Ron , Lenny , Brian , Pichai , Robert and a warehouse full of 928 parts .
