Coolant Flushing- do I dare open block plugs?

I opened the block drains, no problems at all. The gaskets looked OK, and I re-used them. Loctite on them for future peace of mind.

Ahhh. No loctite my man, unless you really don't want them to come off again. Just put some AL friendly antiseize and torque them to specs. They won't wiggle free.

Did I say Loctite? That was a Freudian, I meant anti-seize. And the tips are right about using a big(wide) pan. Otherwise you'll make a messy job miserable.
