Acceleration Sensor settings

As part of my ongoing investigation to solve ABS and PSD warnings:
I found my acceleration sensor, opened it up and gave it a good squirt with some contact cleaner.
There are 3 pins in the connector. The middle one is ground. If I test resistance from ground pin to the left pin, I measure 1.5k ohms. For the right pin, I get 0.75k ohms (this is without me trying to move the arm). Does anyone know if these measures are OK?

Supply pin 3 with +5v and ground to pin 1. Pin 2 is output;
Should get about 2.7v on flat surface, about 1.1v and 4.4v with 90 degrees rotation in each direction right and left respectively.

Pagnobito. Thanks for your help on this.
I think my sensor is (unfortunately for me trying to diagnose my ABS fault) behaving correctly.
I rigged up a test with 3 x 1.5 v batteries giving me around 4.5v.
On flat: 2.5V. Then 0.9 and 4.2 respectively. Given i wasn't starting with 5V, i am guessing these readings are close enough.
I need to look elsewhere for the fault(s).

Pagnobito, AKA JDSPorsche.. We spoke on the phone.
Think we need to get the codes from the ECU. As I say, I can't lend my kit out as I might need it but visiting you could be possible.
