An OCD person would go crazy washing the dirt off. It defiantly looks like it just finished a stage. Interesting concept for a paint job in bad shape.

Well... technically it looks like it was dragged through the sand upside down and then left in the sun for 30 years which bleached the paint (but not the dirt) - so IMHO it looks wrong. There are more pics of it at https://www.jackseven-ratbike-customs.de/porsche-patina - I don't know if you saw them. Considering that a 928 was never used for any such off-road race (unlike, say, a 911), the fake "I've done the Paris Dakar" treatment is even more off-putting. It would be interesting as an off-road concept car - essentially the way it looks in the second pic on that page, BEFORE the application of the fake dirt and wear - but I don't buy the fake patina.
