I have been visiting the forum for some time and thought it would be nice to get registered and introduce myself. I am Gertjan, Dutch, 52 years old and for some 10+ years a Porsche driver. Owned a manual 993 and a manual 964 C2 which I sold last year. And since June the proud owner of a manual 928 S4.
Bought after a tip from Dutch transaxle specialist garage The Loods only 25 kms from my home. It is a Jan 1988 car, without sunroof, but with LSD and sport suspension, and has been meticulously restored and maintained by its previous owner. Car has 200k kms, the engine was fully rebuilt 5 years ago on the basis of the under block of another used engine.
Hope to find good company and tips and tricks here. Have some HVAC issues to sort, and am considering to have the suspension rebuilt as the car is still on its original shocks and dampers.
