I agree.

Wonder what I can get for the 9 volume gray binder set in pristine condition?

At this rate some people's manuals will be worth more than their car.

I have an original '85 manual in German. If any of the ROW crowd need a page, I'd be happy to oblige. If you'll tell me how to get my HP ScanJet 3570c to work with Windows XPp... Then I can scan it.

When Porsche start selling the manual for $1000+ (rumored at $1400).
then the old versions should increase in value. Even if you can buy the
CD for only $25, there are people that want to respect the law, and only
use the CD version as a "back up". I guess they could buy the microfiche
version for $45 and not be burdened by their conscience. Jim you still
selling those?

Makes me wish I hadn't sold my extra set for only $300.

I keep three copies of the manuals on CD in my car. I'd give one to a poor college student or someone similar if I ran into them, but a wealthy type would need to tell me that they either had a copy or were in the process of buying one.

I'd give one out when asked otherwise-

on the eBay link, click on the blue Porsche catagory heading :

eBay Motors > Parts & Accessories > Manuals & Literature > Car & Truck > Porsche

and you should find one a CD rom available. Quality varies.

I saw a set of 6 volume manuals on Ebay for like about $300CDN a short while ago and no one bought it... then it went up for sale again after and I think the price ended up around $500-600... maybe I should've bought it the first time around seeing as it basically doubled after he relisted it
