Default Hatch fuse

Looking for what size of fuse is needed for the in line link on the rear hatch motor for an 1984 928S USA.

Fuse is missing, and can't seem to find any data on size of fuse.

Thanks,

Dave,

Went to your web site, however, the information on the inline fuse next to the hatch motor isn't listed, or I had way too much to drink last night at my Lions Club meeting.

Also, let me know if 9 Magazine can be a sponsor of this years Sharks in the Mountain.

Umm... wrong Dave.

928gt.com is Dave Roberts of 928 Specialists.

In any case I thought you were asking about the fuse in the fuse panel - not the inline fuse.

And it is apparently not in the electrical diagram for the 84 either.

Sorry wrong Dave, but nonetheless...

See I can' find out what size a fuse to use, there isn't any documentation on it.

The '84 electrical diagram is terrible. It may work to use the diagram from an '85.

Brian... the '84 (USA) wiring diagram shows a 'fuse' symbol near
the rear hatch unlock drive (motor) but it is unlabelled and in my
(USA) '84 an in-line fuse is physically not present anywhere in the
rear compartment.

The diagram also shows that circuit fused by #23 in the Fuse Panel.
When I remove #23 (8 Amp)the rear hatch unlock function is disabled.

Perhaps that symbol just means that the wire is fused somewhere.

G'luck. I enjoy your mag.
