Come to find out my ammeter does everything but DC amperage. I have a friend coming over tomorrow to help me. He's an electrician.

@Alan FINALLY! I figured it out. My ammeter was fine...for whatever reason, i initially wasn't getting a reading. I put on a wire "extension wire" to get better access with the clamp. Regardless, blower values are speed 4 = 16.1; 3 = 13.1; 2 = 9.0; 1 = 5.2; 0 = 2.85 How does that look?

I also used the temp gun to get some reading while going through the various speeds. Some of the coils were getting 200+ degrees. Is this okay? Nothing got red-hot, even when I had the hair dryer on the low setting but that is when I obviously got the higher temp reading. Thanks for the help on this. Hopefully my values are acceptable and I can get this thing fished back in.

I think you can call it good - those look perfectly fine. They will vary depending on system voltage - higher with engine running at speed and lower on battery only or at hot idle.
