Default Manual Flywheels

Can a late model flywheel be adapted to run a twin plate clutch? Also has anybody had any experience running a single plate clutch with more than stardard horsepower and what have been your experiences? Good or bad please.

You need to get a earlier flywheel for the dual disk and the timing ring from an automatic press onto the flywheel for the stock LH timing.
The stock GTS unit is good for at least 350HP, so how much HP are you planning?

Don't remember the specific years for these parts, but Jim B. should, once he wakes up this morning

You cannot run the smaller diameter double disc on the late flywheel because there is not enough material in the center of the flywheel to contact all of the early disc.

Part of the advantage of the twin disc is the smaller diameter of the mass as well as a lighter flywheel . The 84-86 flywheel (which is indexed to the crank) is modified by pressing on the toothed timing wheel from an 87> automatic ........you must carefully orient it for correct timing . Could someone pass me the coffee pot .
