Glad you got the bolts out,
now when you install them use loctite 567 PTFE paste sealant,
this will prevent coolant from wicking into the threads .
use it also on the water pump bolts.
NOTE make a thread chaser from one of the used bolts cut three flutes into the first few threads,
then add some PB to the hole,
and slowly in and out the screw into the threaded portion. dont force the screw,
dont use a tap as it can remove metal.
