Interior Restoration: Foam Glue?
To orient you, we're looking at the right side of the console, under the console cover. A bundle of wires is held down by two pieces of metal going through a plastic piece and bent over.
The foam has pulled away.
Recommend a glue to refasten it?
We're going to patch the surface with flexseal.
Thanks.

If it's at all like the foam on the door cards, I think a lot of folks recommend the red weldwood contact cement (avoid the green can).
Cheers

The Red Weldwood adhesive is what an interior shop uses,
I have found it to be the best adhesive for sticking anything on a 928 .
NOTE I have installed over 15 interiors,
and only once did I decide to cheat and use a spray can adhesive, on a few parts
since its easy to use, needless to say that job required a do over as the spray adhesives used on the carpets came loose after a few heat cycles,
NOTE I tried a few different brands of spray 3M, Permatex, and some other stuff none worked as well as the Weldwood
I have never had a problem with the Weldwood ,
and it works great for sticking a shower curtain to the door for a vapor barrier no tapes are needed
