Whatever you do, don't use fuel with ethanol in it. I don't know if that's even a thing where you are. In the United States, most gasoline has ethanol derived from corn in it.
Unfortunately, it's very hard on the rubber fuel lines and seals in older cars. Costs about 50% more for the non-ethanol gas here, but it's all I use. An engine fire from disintegrated hoses would cost a lot more!

There is no reason any 928 today, should still have the original fuel hoses in it anywhere, for fire reasons more than Ethanol ones. Modern materials are not a problem.

Ethanol is not an issue here as we have pure petroleum based gasoline. I would worry more about old fuel lines in the engine bay considering the extreme heat during the summer months and dryness. Definitely a must replace by any owner regardless of the region as the cars have aged and those parts would have degraded regardless.
