The 044 pumps are overkill for most 928 engines.
I only use this pump for engines that make over 500hp.
You are correct.
A smaller (more suitable volume pump) would suffice for your car.
I was losing fuel pressure at WOT with the stock pump and 42lb injectors. The pump is wired via a relay with a short run to the battery. Its getting full voltage....via one of your HO alternators, which BTW, are . Everything just seems to work better.

I guess i will add some rubber and rock wool that I have to try and hush it up. I just really noticed it more when i was making a bunch of videos of the car. All i could hear was the damn pump.

Interesting thing is there are $50 Bosch pumps on eBay. How is this possible? Must be a bunch of counterfeit units out there. I need one for my 914-6 itb fuel injection setup so been looking.

Had same sound on Rocket. Seemed to get louder if low fuel in the tank.
